A Systematic Literature Review on Sustainability in Family Firms

In this study, we explore the research published from 2015 to 2020 on importance of family firms (FFs) sustainability. Our results come a content analysis 28 studies topic. Further, they deal with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in construction industry Italy Spain. These mainly follow quantitative approach data survey. This study’s main contribution regards identification three sorts aspects associated sustainability FFs which match pillars triple bottom line that supports sustainable business development: social inclusion, economic development, environmental protection. findings show family’s religiosity, reputation, image play relevant roles FFs’ adoption practices.
